FAQs

The following is a list of the most frequently asked questions regarding receptions at Fagel Farms. If you have additional questions that are not answered here, please do not hesitate to contact us. It is our pleasure to assist you with any questions you may have.

What’s included in the rental fee, and what isn’t?

The Weekend Wedding Rental package includes use of the property for two days and use of the Guest House for two nights lodging for 8 guests. It also includes a bridal changing area, a cake table, and a gift card box. The rental price does not cover the costs of the any tents, tables, linens, glassware, silverware, utensils lighting or other decorations.

Can we use our own vendors and caterer?

All tent, tables and other wedding supply needs at Fagel Farms must be contracted through Windswept Party & Events.  Use of caterers other than those on the preferred caterers list is allowed, but additional fees may apply.  Click here for a list of other preferred vendors.

Are there nearby accommodations for overnight guests?

Yes, there are three resorts and a number of hotels nearby that offer discounted block room rates. Ask us for a list of lodging options.

Is there parking on site, and does Fagel Farms offer valet parking?

Yes, Fagel Farms offers free on site parking. Valet parking services are also available at an additional cost. 

How many people can Fagel Farms accommodate?

Fagel Farms can hold a maximum of 250 people.

Is Fagel Farms licensed to provide alcohol service, and can I bring my own wine, beer or champagne?

Yes, you are free to bring your own alcohol. However, Fagel Farms is not licensed to provide alchol service, therefore, if you plan to serve alcohol your caterer must be licensed to do so. 

Can we hold our ceremony here as well as our reception? And if so, is there an additional charge?

Yes, Fagel Farms can accomidate both your ceremony and your reception. There is no additional cost for holding both events at Fagel Farms and the ceremony site is within walking distance of the reception site.

Will the inside of the house be available to us? And is there a bride’s changing area?

Yes, prior to the start of your event the house at Fagel Farms will be available exclusively to you and your wedding party. The house has three changing areas as well as three and a half bathrooms -- providing plenty of room for you and your wedding party.

How much time is allocated for the rehearsal?

The day before your event you will have up to three hours to go over your wedding rehearsal.

Does the venue have liability insurance?

Yes, Fagel Farms does carry liability insurance.

Is there a cake-cutting fee, and do you provide special cake-cutting utensils?

We do not charge a cake-cutting fee, nor do we offer cake-cutting utensils.

Are there restrooms on site or do we need to bring them in?

Fagel Farms requires that you provide restrooms for you and your guests. For a bathroom with a cleanliness and elegance befiting a grand hotel ask about our preferred vendor. 

Are cabs accessible from the venue?

There is no cab service at Fagel Farms. Securing a shuttle service is recommended -- especially for weddings with a lot of out-of-town guests staying at a nearby hotel. If this is a service you would like us help arrange, please let us know at the time of your booking.

Are you handicap accessible?

Unfortunately, the answer is no. Fagel Farms is an outdoor venue with open fields and unpaved terrain, and therefore not handicap friendly.

What do we need to do to secure our wedding date?

To secure a date, a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit is required. Full payment is due two weeks prior to the wedding date. To accommodate any unforseen overages a credit card will need to be held on file.
